Delta Academy CONT.
The Delta Academy provides an opportunity to enrich and enhance the education that our young teens receive in public schools in the Albany area. Specifically, we augment their scholarship in science, technology, engineering, and math with opportunities to provide service in the form of leadership through service learning (community service involvement), sisterhood, health and beauty, self-esteem and etiquette workshops. A primary goal of the program is to prepare young girls for full participation as leaders in the 21st Century.
Delta Academy meetings are held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month from September to June.

DELTa GEMS CONT.
Delta GEMS provides the framework to actualize those dreams through the performance of specific tasks that develop a CAN DO attitude. Delta GEMS aspires to assist the girls with goal setting and planning for the future.
The goals for Delta GEMS are to develop strong, confident, respectful young ladies and prepare them to take an active role in their success and society.
The Delta GEMS framework is composed of five major components (Scholarship, Sisterhood, Show Me the Money, Service, and Infinitely Complete), forming a road map for college and career planning. Topics within the five major components are designed to provide interactive lessons and activities that provide opportunities for self-reflection and individual growth.
Delta GEMS meetings are held on the third Saturday of each month from September to June.
